Why a Turkey Logo?
Great question! The name “Callicoon” translates to “wild turkey” in both Dutch and Choctaw. Add to that the abundance of wild turkeys in the area surrounding our headquarters, paired with our signature tagline “Let’s Talk Turkey,” and the turkey logo just makes sense.

Callicoon’s dedication, strong performance, and financial stability have not gone unnoticed. The company was also honored with the 2013 Stakeholder Team Accomplishment Recognition (STAR) Award by Demotech, Inc., in recognition of its exceptional operating results in 2012.
